Interest Groups

Interest Groups are small groups formed by members with a shared interest, with one person taking on the role of Group Leader. Each group operates independently but with support from an overall Group Co-Ordinator. Each group is self-supporting with members contributing a small amount to cover room hire and other costs.

At present we have over 500+ members with 65+ Interest Groups. (May 2025).

Joining a Group

Members of Stubbington u3a can apply to join the Interest Groups. Visitors may be allowed at the Group Leader's discretion. Find out more below.

New Groups

New groups can be formed at any time provided there are enough interested people and a person willing to act as Leader. For further information please send a message to the Groups Coordinator (Frances Hercliffe).
