September's Monthly Meeting - Tudor and Stuart Houses - The Great Rebuilding - Penny Copland
Penny is an archeologist with a love of historic buildings. She is the Collections Manager for Bishops Waltham Museum and combines these two loves with talks about history and buildings with examples from our local area.
Penny will talk about the huge upheavals of the Tudor and Stuart Period and how housing changed hugely at this time. There were new designs, technology and a consideration of comfort .But not everyone liked the changes Penny illustrates her talks.
