Walking group “A" is intended for people who prefer to walk shorter distances, typically 3 to 4 miles (5 to 7 kms). The terrain is generally flat and avoids significant climbs. Walks take place on the 3rd Tuesday of each month and are chosen for their interest and variety of scenery.

A description of the walk (and where possible a map) are sent by email prior to each walk, which are generally within 30 minutes driving distance of Stubbington. The walks are mostly circular, beginning and ending at the same car park, and we always stop at the half way point for rest and refreshments.

There is often a pub or café near the end of the walk for those who want a bite after walking. Dogs are not permitted to avoid accidents with animals.
