Mah-Jong Group 4

A new beginners Mah-Jong group following the rules of the British Mah-Jong Association.

The aim of this fascinating Chinese game of winds and dragons is to assemble four sets of tiles, each consisting of 3 or 4 tiles plus one pair. Sets are called,Chow, Pung and Kong. Players initially learn to form either a "dirty" or a "clean" hand. There are also nineteen unique patterns known as "special" hands. The winner of the game is the first to lay down a completed hand and call Mah-Jong.

It's a game of skill, strategy, and fun!

This group will meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 10.00am -12.00 mid-day.
