Book Group 2 meets on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 2pm. We take it in turns to host the group in our homes.

Our reading list is compiled democratically. Members of the group make recommendations of books which they have enjoyed and it is put to the vote whether or not other members wish to read them. Also, they have to be available on the Hampshire library lending list. At each meeting we usually have a lively discussion on the book which we have read, and find it interesting hearing other group members take on it.

For people who enjoy reading it is a wonderful opportunity to read authors and subject matter which you would not choose yourself. Also to meet like minded people and form new friendships.
