You may be interested in becoming a member of our New u3a Humour Group which will meet in The Foster Room. You will be very welcome.

Our Humour activities will include:

Socializing with refreshments. Telling a quick joke. Giving an amusing story or talk. (no more than 4 minutes).
Presenting a lead-in line for us to compose a comic verse or limerick( e.g. There was a……….from…………)
Talking about our favorite (or non-favorite) comedian, cartoonist or comedy. (no more than 4 minutes).
Reading an amusing poem or prose extract. Providing the script of a comic playlet for others to read and act.
Showing a popular comedy sketch.

Further ideas for future sessions will be welcomed: eg. Panel Games such as Would I Lie to you, Call my Bluff and What’s My Line
